How to Install and Worship the Meru Shri Yantra
Sacred Placement
Place the Meru Shri Yantra in the North-East (Ishan) corner of your home, office, puja room, or business premises. Keep it elevated on a clean altar covered with a red, yellow, or saffron cloth, symbolizing prosperity, purity, and divine blessings.
Correct Alignment
Position the Yantra so that the main triangular face is directed toward the East, welcoming positive cosmic energy, spiritual growth, and abundance into the space.
Purification Ritual
Before installation, gently cleanse the Yantra with Gangajal or purified water. Wipe it carefully with a soft cloth and apply a small tilak of sandalwood paste, kumkum, or saffron to invoke auspicious vibrations.
Energizing the Yantra
Light a diya and incense before the Yantra. Offer fresh flowers, preferably lotus or marigold, and meditate on Goddess Mahalakshmi with devotion. Recite sacred hymns such as the Sri Sukta, Kanakadhara Stotram, or the Mahalakshmi Mantra:
“Om Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah”
Chanting this mantra 108 times is traditionally believed to enhance the Yantra's spiritual potency and attract prosperity, harmony, and positive energy.
Daily Worship
Offer a flower, light incense or a lamp, and spend a few moments in prayer or meditation each day. Consistent devotion is said to strengthen the flow of abundance, peace, and spiritual well-being associated with the Meru Shri Yantra.
Spiritual Significance
The Meru Shri Yantra is revered as a three-dimensional representation of the cosmic energy of Goddess Mahalakshmi. It is traditionally worshipped to invite wealth, success, protection, balance, and divine grace into one's life and surroundings.
